Darlene has been trained in acupressure, connective tissue and deep tissue massage, as well as La Stone® hot stone therapy. She utilizes the Bowen Technique®, Ortho-Bionomy®, and Postural Integration technique to make sure your not only do you feel great following a session, but that your body structure is also balanced. She has special interests in reflexology, using the Ingham Method, and has also taken courses in Raindrop Therapy, using specific essential oils in a certain pattern on your feet and spine, to help those with chronic pain. For many of her massage clients, she stimulates their lymph system to work better with specific techniques, as well as working with the myofascial tissues to release many chronic and painful areas.
Along with practicing massage, Darlene is a Voice Biofeedback® practitioner. There are less than 300 in the country, and she is thrilled to be able to bring this therapy to you. She also has experience in QX Biofeedback®, which helps many patients receive benefit in addition to their massage.
Darlene lives north of Milaca with her husband, Lyle. In Darlene’s spare time, she enjoys hunting for and picking wild mushrooms and herbs. She also likes to take her two dogs for a walk in the woods. Darlene joins us every Tuesday at Natural Elements Health Center to bring her talents to you.
