Christine Schlenker, D. C.

Dr. Christine Schlenker began her chiropractic journey by helping her grandfather on Saturdays at his busy chiropractic office. At a young age, she saw the excitement and passion he had for what he did, and knew she wanted to be a chiropractor.

She attended St. Cloud State University for her pre-requisite courses, and ventured on to Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, where she achieved her Bachelor’s in Human Biology and her Doctor of Chiropractic degree.

After practicing away from home, she has now opened Natural Elements Health Center in Milaca, to bring health options like chiropractic, massage, alternative therapies and products closer to you.

She has continued her education in several areas including nutrition, craniosacral therapy, and most recently, acupuncture. She is very passionate about what she does, and is always on the search for new treatments or therapies to help her patients. “There is nothing better than watching people’s faces and personalities become brighter from the relief of pain and fatigue.” “We know the everyday struggle of their condition and pain can consume everything, and to watch that change is exciting.” Dr. Schlenker says.

Dr. Schlenker has many special interests, which include working with patients who have fibromyalgia and other chronic pain syndromes. She also has been fully trained in craniosacral therapy and myofascial unwinding, which has been highly beneficial in not only chronic conditions, but in reducing the pain related to pregnancy and labor. She often works with newborns and expectant mothers to help them remain healthy through the whole process. Whether her patients are two days or 93 years old, she is happy to help them live a healthier life.

Dr. Christine Schlenker currently lives with her husband, Noah, north of Milaca. They recently built their own home, and are happy to be back in the area. They both enjoy spending time camping and hiking in Minnesota and across the country, along with their two pugs, Zeus and Cleo.
